If you’re a frequent Grab user, you’ll be glad to know that the GrabRewards feature will be re-worked with a host of improvements for customers.

One of the biggest changes is that you can prevent your GrabRewards points from expiring – previously, your points will expire three months after it is earned, forcing you to spend it. Now, you can prevent it from being unusable by performing a Grab transaction – which also includes car rides – within the three months, and your point expiration date will be extended three months from the day of that transaction.
This essentially allows you to save up your points for the big money rewards that you’ve been eyeing – granted you perform one transaction every three months.

Besides that, Platinum and Gold users now have new exclusive airport access rewards on top of existing ones like travel discounts, lounge access and more. Starting from October 1, users will earn up to 3 points for every RM1 spent, while users can also earn three times more points when they use GrabPay for in-store payments, online shopping or prepaid top ups.
Along with these new updates, Grab will also be introducing play-to-win challenges where users can participate in in-app challenges and ear more rewards there. Exciting times ahead.
