Dell’s Latitude 7220 Rugged Extreme is coming to Malaysia next month

Dell has just announced a 12-inch tablet called the Latitude 7220 Rugged Extreme. Why the name? Because this table is made to cater for workers in “harsh environments”.

The 12-inch tablet features a 1000 nits FHD display topped with anti-glare coatings so that its users doesn’t face difficulty with the display when they’re out in direct sunlight. The Latitude 7220 Rugged Extreme is also durable even in extreme environments as it has an IP65 rating in addition to being able to withstand 1.2m drop test and -20 to 145-degree Fahrenheit temperatures. With a built-in infrared camera, the tablet uses Windows Hello facial recognition for ease of access; users can also opt to use its next-generation fingerprint sensor.

This tablet can be powered by up to i7-8665U Intel processor, in addition to getting up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. It has an integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 and runs on Windows 10 Professional. With various different accessories, the Latitude 7220 Rugged Extreme can be used at the desk, in the vehicle or even at work fields.
