COMPUTEX 2016: Genius shows off a new range of lifestyle technology products

I know what you are thinking, but this Taiwanese technology company is still really active in the peripherals game at COMPUTEX this year and they do have some eye-catching products in up their sleeves. Genius calls its new line of products this year Smart Life products and includes products that work with both computers and mobile devices.

The new ECO-series mice, as its name suggests, is a family of mice products that emphasizes on green computing with built-in rechargeable batteries, they will last up to 100 days in a single charge and can sustain up to 500 charge cycles, the ECO-series mice also has various sizes and designs to fit different hands as well.

If you want something to write on your phone and tablet, the Genius Pen is a very neat accessory. Requiring no special screen panel and software, this battery powered stylus has a ball point pen tip that allows you to write on your devices just like a typical pen, making it easy to have annotations on your presentations, Genius will also be introducing a number of apps in the near future that will work well with the stylus.

While mechanical keyboards feature macro keys and others with multimedia keys, Genius’ Smart Keyboard is made with productivity in mind as it allows you to configure its top row function keys to perform a series of actions, such as shortcuts to apps, accessing to your favorite website and checking the weather.

Genius also displayed a portable mobile home theater speaker with a built-in handle for transporting around, with a 6-hour battery life, the speaker has built-in Bluetooth connection for streaming music and videos wirelessly, there’s also hardware buttons on the top for volume and music controls, this 2.1 sound speaker system sure blows me away with a decent amount of bass and clarity.

Last but not the least, the SP-906BT bluetooth speakers feature a clip-on type design that you can clip on to your bag, play music while travelling around, there’s even a built-in microphone that can be used for making phone calls, which makes it a rather decent multipurpose portable Bluetooth speaker.
