In COMPUTEX 2016, Apacer has officially unveiled the world’s first dual-interface SSD, the AS720 can be used with either a SATAIII port or a USB 3.1 Type-C port, providing users convenience should they require fast access to their games and applications should they need to switch between computers. With a decent 540MB/s read and 450MB/s write speed, the SSD is made for an extreme gaming experience while the 30G anti-vibration and 3000G anti-shock features will protect the device from any accidental bumps, it is available in storage options of 120GB and 240GB.
As working on mobile devices is becoming common, Apacer has also announced a series of mobile storage devices with dual interfaces as well, this includes the AH190 Lightning flash drive that expand’s your iOS device’s storage, the AH180 USB 3.1 Type-C Dual Flash Drive that lets you transfer and access files on devices with USB Type-C port, the AP350 USB 3.1 Type-C Hub and A611 Type-C OTG adapter for connecting other devices such as keyboard, mices, external hard drives and more. In addition, the company has also announced its new microSDXC UHS-I U1 Class 10 memory card series that will have storage capacities up to 256GB with a 85MB/s read speed for demanding mobile applications.
Going rough at times? Apacer’s AC531 is a military-grade rugged hard drive and is IP68-certified water and dust resistant, throw it all over and even step on it if you want, because the chassis are made to endure up to 600kg of pressure.
