ASUS has updated the TUF Gaming F15, F17, and TUF Dash F15 with the latest Intel CPUs, an MUX Switch, and a refined chassis design. So, let’s take a look at what the laptops have to offer.
ASUS TUF Gaming F15 & F17
The TUF Gaming F15 and F17 laptops are equipped with the latest 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700H processor and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. There’s even an MUX Switch for that extra boost in performance if you require; in addition, you can use the ASUS Armoury Crate to turn on a direct GPU mode to reduce latency and improve performance.
These laptops are tough on the inside and tough on the outside —meeting the military MIL-STD-810H test for durability, while sporting a mecha anime-inspired design.
In terms of visuals, the laptops can support up to a QHD 165Hz or a FHD 300Hz display. You also don’t have to worry about the laptop overheating as it features a pair of 84-blade Arc Flow Fans, along with four exhaust fans and five dedicated heatpipes to keep the laptop cool.
ASUS TUF Dash F15
The ASUS TUF Dash F15 has always highlighted the brand’s effort in making a slim, powerful gaming machine ever since it launched last year. This year, the 2022 model maintains the same sleek design while packing updated and upgraded hardware.
It’s equipped with a 15-inch QHD panel capable of pushing 165Hz with support for 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut for optimal gaming performance and colour-accurate content creation. The hardware specs include a 12th Gen Intel i7-12650H processor and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU with MUX Switch; you also get DDR5 RAM along with dual PCIe SSD.
Other than that, you get a wide array of ports such as a Thunder 4 port and a USB Type-C port with support for up to 100W Power Delivery. The TUF Dash F15 is available in two colours — Moonlight White and Eclipse Gray.
The pricing and availability for the ASUS TUF laptops have not been revealed yet, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated when we get more information. In the meantime, if you’d like to stay updated with CES 2022, click here.
