ASUS also revealed the new ASUS Chromebook Flip C434 that is a higher-end model compared to the Chromebook Flip C214, and the C434 is the successor to the ASUS Chromebook Flip C302.
The C434 has a 14-inch LED-backlit FHD IPS glossy screen with 5mm-thin bezels to achieve 87% screen-to-body ratio. The top and bottom of the laptop is made with lightweight aluminium, just like the laptop’s lid.
Besides that, the C434 features the same 1.4mm of key travel that was spotted on its predecessors and it comes with multistage backlight. It also has a 360° hinge which allows the Chromebook to be turned into a tablet quickly and easily.
Apart from that, the Chromebook Flip C434 runs on Chrome OS and also equips powerful Intel Core processors in which users can choose from Intel Core M3-8100Y, Intel Core i5-8200Y and Intel Core i7-8500Y processors. The laptop also sports Intel HD Graphics 615, and supports up to 8GB RAM with up to 128GB storage that can be expanded via microSD card for up to 2TB.
The Chromebook Flip C434 has two USB Type-C ports, one USB Type-A port, one microSD card and one audio combo jack. Furthermore, it houses a HD webcam and supports 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. That aside, the Chromebook Flip C434 comes with a 48Wh lithium-polymer and weighs 1.45kg.
The Chromebook Flip C434 starts at the price of $569 and is scheduled to launch in the coming months.
