Gaming component manufacturers Gigabyte is at CES and they brought with it two new 15″ gaming laptops with them to the showfloor: the P56 and Sabre 15.
The first of the gaming laptops is the P56, a laptop that is targeted towards the gaming enthusiasts. This particular model comes with a 15.6″ UHD (3840 x 2160) display and is powered by an 7th-gen Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor and a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card.
Besides the P56, Gigabyte has also unveiled the Sabre 15, a gaming laptop meant for 1080p gaming. This machine sports a 15.6″ screen and is powered by a 7th-gen Intel Core i7 processor. For graphics, the Sabre 15 is capable of sporting either a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or a GTX 1050, both of which are graphics cards that are sufficient for 1080p gaming. Other standout features of the Sabre 15 includes an RGB backlight keyboard, an optional UHD Blu-Ray Drive, and a USB Type-C port that supports Thunderbolt 3.
Apart from the new laptop entries, Gigabyte’s pre-existing laptop models have also been given a refresh. The P55 and P57 laptops have been given a processor refresh while retaining the GeForce 10 series graphics cards that they currently have. Meanwhile, the P15 and P17 entry-level laptops have also received a processor refresh.
