The update is said to be in the process of rolling out, will allow you to use Google Home as an intercom system to relay messages even when you are not near the speaker. To trigger this feature, all you need to say is “Okay Google, broadcast dinner is ready” and it will relay the message to Google Home speakers that are connected to your phone. Google has already released some phrases that can trigger specific sounds like saying dinner is ready will trigger a dinner bell sound through your smart speakers.
