There’s no doubt that every smartphone manufacturer will eventually release 5G phones of their own — some have already done it while some are about to this year. ASUS is one of the few who will be launching a 5G phone this year, suspected to be the Zenfone 7.

There hasn’t been much news about the Zenfone 7 until today when a photo was posted on the official ASUS ZenTalk Forum. A picture of a slide revealed a phone that’s allegedly the ZenFone 7 and it comes with a square camera bump, just like the iPhone 11 and the Google Pixel 4. However, the camera bump is placed at the center this time.

Based on the image alone, we can expect this upcoming ASUS phone to sport a triple camera setup where the bump will be slightly protruding. On the front, you’ll be able to distinguish a pill-shaped cutout on the left, indicating that it’ll come with two lenses.

Since the Zenfone series has always been ASUS’s flagship series, it’s only logical to assume that this device will be featuring the latest Snapdragon 865 chipset and a 5G modem to support 5G connectivity. If it’s anything like last year, then the Zenfone 7 should be released sometime in May.a
