Leave it up to ASUS to make something ridiculous yet so beautiful; the Taiwanese brand took to their home ground at this year’s COMPUTEX expo to show off their newest offering the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo.
The laptop features two screens that capable of pushing 4K resolution — the main screen is a 15-inch 16:9 OLED panel, while the second is a 32:9 IPS ScreenPad Plus touch screen interface that’s placed just above the keyboard.
If you’re familiar with the ASUS ROG Zephyrus S, you’ll notice the form factor is similar — the touchpad is also placed to the far right of the keyboard and features a digital num pad.
The ScreenPad Plus panel serves as a secondary touch screen that serves to improve productivity as it provides an extension to the main monitor. You can also choose to split displays — have a video playing on the main panel and MS Word open on the second panel.
The laptop is equipped with an Intel Core i9 processor as well as an Nvidia RTX 2060 GPU, so this laptop is capable of gaming, but it’s design is more suited to content creators. The ZenBook Pro Duo is equipped with a Thunderbolt 3 port, two USB-A ports, a headphone jack and a HDMI port.
ASUS says that the ZenBook Pro Duo should be available sometime third quarter this year.
