At ASUS Computex press conference today, the company has unveiled the successor to its original ZenBook 3 notebook, the ZenBook 3 Deluxe doesn’t look too different from its predecessor, but ASUS has in fact made significant changes to its most popular premium ultrabook, the ZenBook 3 Deluxe now features a larger 14-inch display fitted into a 13-inch chassis, which is all thanks to its NanoEdge display that sports extremely slim bezels, the notebook merely weighs 1.1kg and measures 12.9mm slim.
The ZenBook 3 Deluxe is clearly targeted at MacBook Pro users, ASUS has equipped it with 7th Gen Intel Core i5 or i7 U processors and it supports up to 16GB of LPDDR3 2133MHz, it will also come with up to 1TB of PCI-E SSD, which will make it a pretty speedy machine. On top of that, the ZenBook 3 Deluxe has two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 3 enabled, it supports up to dual 4K UHD monitors and can be used with the company’s ROG XG Station 2 external GPU enclosure, which amplifies the graphics capability of the notebook and users can take advantage of it for video rendering work as well, ASUS has also claimed the ZenBook 3 Deluxe’s battery to last up to 9 hours on a single charge.
The ZenBook 3 Deluxe will be available later this year and retails from US$1,199 (MYR5,117), it will be available in colors of Royal Blue and Quartz Grey.
