Which is better? GTX 1030 or 940MX. If the GTX 1030 is better I'll like to see that on the VivoBook S15.

The GTX 1030 is better than the 940mx. They're both a Power Efficient Graphics Card but the GTX 1030 somehow out performs the 940mx while still keeping the Power Efficiency On.
