ASUS ROG Phone 3 now in Malaysia: Priced from RM2,999

The ASUS ROG Phone 3 is finally here in Malaysia, bringing to the country the first phone with the beastly Snapdragon 865 Plus. The phones are available to purchase now; and the prices are as follows:

  • ROG Phone 3 STRIX Edition (SD865. 8GB+256GB) – RM2,999
  • ROG Phone 3 (SD865 Plus, 12GB+512GB) – RM3,799
  • ROG Phone 3 (SD865 Plus, 16GB+512GB) – RM4,499

We’ve previously spoken about the specs before, so here’s a quick run-through – the ROG Phone 3 comes with a massive 6.59-inch FHD+ display that pushes a whopping 144Hz refresh rate. The panel also offers a low 25ms touch latency and 270Hz touch sampling rate.

When it comes to the cameras, you get a 64MP triple-lens setup which includes a 13MP ultrawide shooter, as well as a macro lens. On the front, you get a 24MP selfie shooter.

When it comes to features, the phone comes with the new-and-improved AirTrigger 3 haptic triggers that now allow you to perform gestures like sliding to perform more functions in any game.

To keep the phone cool during long gaming sessions is a beefed up vapor chamber cooling system; the Malaysian retail box also includes the new AeroActive Cooler 3 that you can attach to the back of your phone to improve heat dissipation

Powering the device is a massive 6,000mAh battery that ASUS claims can get you over 9 hours of game time. To charge your powerful device is support for 30W of HyperCharge fast charging. Like on the ROG Phone, you also get a side-mounted charging port so you don’t have cables in the way of your hands when you game.

All models will come bundled with the new AeroActive Cooler 3 and AeroCase, and you can purchase them via ASUS’ official Lazada and Shopee stores
