Asus has officially launched the ZenFone 5z in Malaysia together with the 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM variants that come with massive storages of 128GB and 258GB respectively.
This is the follow-up phone to the ZenFone 5 which came with a Snapdragon 636 processor and 4GB of RAM, making it the mid-range sibling in the ZenFone 5 family. For a mid-range phone, it performed well and for a price of RM1,299, it considered a steal. Now, with the ZenFone 5z, Asus has closed the flagship gap that was previously left empty. The 5z comes with a Snapdragon 845 processor and the change of processor really showed in our recent versus video and with a price difference that is not far from each other, it is a no-brainer to pick up the ZenFone 5z.
The Asus ZenFone 5z will be available for purchase starting 31 July 2018 on the Asus’ Official Lazada Store, the 6GB RAM 128GB storage variant will retail for RM1,699 as a limited quantity promotion to which it will revert to its original price of RM1,899 and the 8GB RAM 256GB storage variant retails for RM2,299.
