This round’s WWDC appears to be packed with tons of new stuff, and Apple’s Mac desktop and laptop series have gotten refreshes this time, one way or another. Live from San Jose, California, the Cupertino company has updated its Macbook line with newer internals.

For starters, the Macbook and Macbook Pro will be running Intel’s newer Kaby Lake processors underneath the hood. The former model will be getting 50 percent faster SSD storage as well, and the 15-inch model of the Macbook Pro will be getting faster standard graphics, though details have yet to be revealed.

With the incremental upgrades, Apple is also bringing a newly configured Macbook Pro to its lineup with a tad more affordable price tag. The said 13-inch model will set you back $1,299 (RM5,538.29).

The rumored to go Macbook Air happens to still be alive in Apple’s ecosystem. It looks like the company isn’t killing off its more affordable line of laptops for the time being. Speaking of which, the Macbook Air is also due for an upgrade, but Apple has only brought a minor one to this series. The Macbook Air will be running on a higher clocked processor. Details have once again yet to be disclosed.

Apple’s updated Macbook lineup will start shipping today. Thoughts on the refreshed models? How about the almost forgotten Macbook Air?
