Apple today unveiled the Apple Watch Series 11, the latest addition to its wearable lineup, bringing advanced health monitoring, longer battery life, stronger durability, and 5G connectivity in Apple’s thinnest and most comfortable design yet. The device introduces groundbreaking hypertension notifications and sleep score, expanding the Apple Watch’s role as both a health guardian and fitness companion.
Apple Watch Series 11 builds on Apple’s legacy of health innovation by offering notifications for signs of chronic high blood pressure, or hypertension. Using optical heart sensor data, the watch can passively analyze how a user’s blood vessels respond to heartbeats over 30-day periods. If consistent signs of hypertension are detected, the device will send alerts, giving users an opportunity to seek medical attention and make lifestyle changes. This feature is supported by scientific validation, machine learning, and data from over 100,000 study participants, with FDA clearance and availability expected in more than 150 countries and regions.

Alongside hypertension monitoring, the new sleep score feature helps users evaluate the quality of their rest by analyzing sleep duration, bedtime consistency, wake frequency, and time spent in different sleep stages. A nightly score and breakdown are displayed in the Sleep app, offering actionable insights for better rest. Sleep score adds to the Watch’s comprehensive health features, including irregular rhythm notifications, Blood Oxygen, Cycle Tracking, and sleep apnea detection.
Series 11 is designed to last, with up to 24 hours of battery life and fast charging that delivers up to eight hours of use in just 15 minutes. The aluminum models feature a strengthened Ion-X glass display with a new ceramic coating that doubles scratch resistance, while titanium models continue to use sapphire crystal for industry-leading durability.

With 5G connectivity, Apple Watch Series 11 delivers faster music, podcast, and app downloads. A redesigned antenna boosts reception in weak coverage areas, automatically engaging dual antennas when needed. The device is available in 42mm and 46mm sizes across aluminum finishes — space gray, jet black, rose gold, and silver — as well as polished titanium in natural, gold, and slate.
Running on watchOS 26, the Series 11 introduces Workout Buddy, a new Apple Intelligence–powered feature that provides real-time spoken motivation during exercise based on metrics like heart rate, pace, and Activity rings. The Workout app has also been redesigned with customizable views, pacing tools, and expanded workout tracking across running, cycling, swimming, and more.

watchOS 26 also brings a refreshed design with Liquid Glass, two new watch faces (Flow and Exactograph), a new one-handed wrist flick gesture for dismissing notifications, and Live Translation in Messages, automatically translating incoming texts on the wrist when paired with an Apple Intelligence-supported iPhone.
The new Apple Watch lineup introduces fresh band colors including forest, neon yellow, anchor blue, and purple fog. The Nike Sport Band and Sport Loop also receive new updates, while the Hermès collection debuts the Faubourg Party knit band with a matching animated watch face, and a narrow Grand H titanium link band for a refined look.
