Apple has officially introduced the Apple Watch Series 10, its latest and most advanced smartwatch to date. With a sleeker design, enhanced features, and innovative capabilities, Series 10 now boasts the largest display yet, advanced health insights like sleep apnea notifications, faster charging, and new water depth and temperature sensors.

Apple Watch Series 10 is the company’s thinnest and lightest version ever, featuring a streamlined form that is nearly 10% thinner than previous models. The updated design offers more rounded corners and wider aspect ratios, while still maintaining its 18-hour battery life.

The aluminum and titanium cases now come in stylish new colors, including a reflective jet black finish for aluminum and a jewelry-like polish for titanium in gold, natural, and slate.

Series 10’s display offers 30% more screen area compared to earlier models like Series 4 and up to 9% more than Series 9. The introduction of a wide-angle OLED display allows for 40% better brightness at wider viewing angles, making notifications, messages, and other apps easier to read on the go. It also features a more power-efficient always-on mode, refreshing up to once per second, allowing users to see the ticking seconds hand at a glance.

Apple Watch Series 10 continues to push boundaries with health insights, particularly with the introduction of sleep apnea notifications. Leveraging the watch’s accelerometer and respiratory tracking, the watch monitors for breathing disturbances during sleep, alerting users of potential signs of sleep apnea.

This feature, developed through advanced machine learning and validated in a clinical study, is expected to receive FDA approval soon.

Other fitness features include depth and water temperature sensors for swimming and diving, along with the new Tides app, which helps users track tidal conditions for water activities.

The Series 10 boasts the fastest charging capabilities in Apple Watch history. With a larger, more efficient charging coil integrated into the metal back, users can achieve 80% battery in just 30 minutes. A quick 15-minute charge provides up to eight hours of use.

In Malaysia, the Apple Watch Series 10 starts at RM1,799 for the Aluminum model and RM3,299 for the Titanium model, availability hasn’t been announced at this time of writing.
