Apple unveils the iPad Pro along with two accessories, a Smart Keyboard cover and Apple Pencil stylus

The long awaited rumours have finally come to life, Apple has finally unveiled its new and bigger 12.9-inch tablet and called it the iPad Pro. Apple has packed the iPad Pro with an all new A9X processor that delivers up to 1.8x faster performance and 8x graphics performance than its predecessor, which actually allows the CPU to power its 5.6 million pixel packed display at a 4:3 aspect ratio 2732 x 2048 resolution. In other hardware aspects, the iPad Pro has four speakers and has the same impressive 10-hour battery life.Apple has clearly marketed the iPad Pro at productive and creative users this time with the increased screen size as well as two new accessories to the tablet – the Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil. The Smart Keyboard is a keyboard cover designed exclusively for the iPad Pro and connects to the device via a Surface Pro like touch connector, which offers the productive user a much better typing experience on the tablet. On the other hand, the Apple Pencil is a battery powered pressure sensitive stylus that allows designers and artists to work on the tablet’s huge display, the Pencil also features a Lightning connector that gets power from the iPad Pro’s Lightning port.

The iPad Pro will come in Space Grey, Silver and Gold color options while storage will start from 32GB up to 128GB. And the price? You guessed it, its not cheap at all as the WiFi only base storage model already starts from US$799 (RM3500), which is close to a MacBook Pro and the price goes up to US$1079 (RM4700) for the 128GB WiFi+Cellular model. The iPad Pro will be available starting on November and in the meantime, Apple has also introduced the iPad Mini 4 that uses the A8X processor onthe iPad Air 2, while the iPad Mini 2 is currently the company’s available entry level tablet model.
