Do you own the latest iPad Air and if you do, have you been experiencing sudden blank screen? Owners of the iPad Air 3rd generation have been complaining about this issue, leading to Apple offering a Service Program to solve the problem.

According to Apple, there are some iPad Air (3rd generation) units that may experience permanent blank screens. These devices should be manufactured between March 2019 to October 2019, so if your iPad Air has similar issues, you can get it fixed without getting charged.

However, you may have to pay if your iPad Air has any other damages that prevent the technician from fixing the blank screen issue. Let’s say your screen is cracked and affects the blank screen repairing process, then you’ll have to pay to fix the cracked screen.

Similar to the rest of Apple’s service programs, this program doesn’t extend the standard warranty and will cover the affected devices for two years from the first retail sale.
