Apple has announced the availability of iOS 10.3 and macOS Sierra 10.12.4, where users can now check their devices for updates to these new OS versions, and you should probably do so if you own an iOS device or Mac because these updates are definitely worth applying, as they bring improvements when it comes to usability.
In the case of iOS 10.3, Apple is introducing the new AFS (Apple File System) file system to replace the current HFS+ file system, which will offer better encryption, scaling across devices and more optimized for SSDs, users can also expect a slight storage space increase after applying the update. The most significant feature update would be to able to track your lost AirPods using the Find My iPhone app, which can be used to play a sound on the AirPods or find out its last connected location, hence you would probably worry less of misplacing your AirPods with this feature.
With macOS Sierra 10.12.4, Apple is finally bringing Night Shift over to Macs, the feature is first introduced in iOS, which reduces blue light emission from the display and help users sleep better when using the device before bed, other than that the update merely fixes certain issues with the Mail app and adds dictation support for Shanghainese, while if you are a cricket fan you will be able to ask Siri scores about the scores and statistics of the Indian Premiere League and International Cricket Council.
Let us know if you find any new stuffs in these updates, but if you own an Apple TV and Watch, Apple has also announced software updates for these two products, which adds a theater mode and better content rental features respectively.
