Apple is releasing a new cheaper MacBook and will be refreshing the iPad line up somewhere in this year. This information comes from DigiTimes which also added that the new entry-level MacBook will cost lower than the current 12-inch MacBook and will have a price of around the $999 price point.
The new MacBook is also reported to enter mass production at the end of May and will be ready for WWDC 2018. KGI also reported that Apple will be making a cheaper 13-inch MacBook Air later this year, but there could be a confusion between the two sources or we could be seeing a cheaper MacBook and MacBook Air. Digitimes also suggested that a new iPad will be launched in the second quarter of the year and other sources have suggested that the new iPad will come with a $300 price tag.
A Eurasian regulatory filing also states that new parts are being produced for a new iPad Pro which will be released in the second half of the year. We can expect a new iPad Pro this year, with a new bezel design, and the home button removed in favour of Face ID.
