It has been more than a decade since Apple held its annual WWDC events outside of San Francisco. Things will change this year as Apple has announced that WWDC 2017 will be held at San Jose, California, more specifically, at the McEnery Convention Center.

Apple’s WWDC events mostly do not involve the unveiling of new Apple products, and we expect the 28th WWDC to be no different, unless the Cupertino company changes its mind. The event has been set from June 5-9, where fans will be keeping an eye out for refreshed software instead of hardware. Do expect refreshes of MacOS, iOS, watchOS and more when WWDC 2017 commences less than four months from now.

There isn’t too much significant talk about what will be happening in terms of Apple’s various software platforms, so it will probably be the usual software updates with a couple of added features thrown into them, better performance and what not. We won’t be expecting a lot from Apple in terms of hardware too later this year as it has redesigned its line of Macbook Pro’s, unless the company decides to finally renew its aging Mac Pro powerhouse. What do you think?
