Apple and Nike collaborate on a new design for the Apple Watch

Apple and Nike have come together once again to create a sporty looking version of the Apple Watch, dubbed the Apple Watch NikeLab edition. Unlike the previous collaboration between the two companies, the new Apple Watch will come with a “Light Bone/Black” band, giving it a more sleek and laid-back feel unlike the Apple Watch Nike+. The NikeLab edition will come in both 38 mm and 42 mm sizes just like the previous version of the device.

Sadly there is no new hardware or software upgrades, making this new design for the Apple and Nike fans that are looking for a new addition to their collection. If you have used the Series 2 watches, you will feel right at home as the external design is the same. The difference between this new design change is that it limited time only design that will be made available at nike.com, NikeLab Stores and Apple’s pop-up store in Isetan, Japan. Based on MacRumors, this will be the first time an Apple Watch will not be made available from Apple.

The new design smartwatch will be available on April 27, no pricing details have been announced but seeing as it is a limited time and edition of the Apple Watch, be expected to pay the premium price that comes with all Apple based products.
