Every company has their own strengths and weaknesses, and in this case, one of Apple’s weaknesses lies in its MacBook keyboard that have been constantly criticised for its faulty keys.

The keyboard issue has been raised since 2017, and while Apple tried to improve the MacBook keyboards by adding a rubber membrane to its third-generation keyboard, a recent column written by Joanna Stern at The Wall Street Journal proved that the issue remain unsolved.

According to Stern, the company is not entirely clueless regarding their keyboard problem. An Apple spokesperson said, “We are aware that a small number of users are having issues with their third-generation butterfly keyboard and for that we are sorry.”

He however also pointed out that the majority of MacBook users are happy with the new keyboard, though it’s clear that the company should definitely come up with better solutions.

It is worth noting how creative Stern is in expressing her views; she wrote her column without the letters ‘E’ and ‘R’ to highlight the problem that the keyboard is causing.
