AOC has unveiled its new raXor series ultra slim IPS monitors today, they are handsome looking monitors for the desk that features an ultra slim 2mm bezel and as slim as 7.5mm at its thickest point. The term ‘raXor’ can also be referrred as Razor X, which reminds us of a certain smartphone brand moniker that we have long heard of. The new raXor monitors are available in 21.5-inches, 23.8-inches and 27-inches, these monitors are equipped with extremely bright and colorful IPS panels that sports a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms of response time and Full HD resolution. Furthermore, the unique design of the monitor stand simply leaves us in awe on how beautiful these monitors can be.
The new AOC raXor monitors have flicker free backlight technology that reduces eye strain on long durations, its clear vision feature also helps in upscaling Standard Definition resolution content to HD for a sharp viewing experience. Among the three models, the 23.8-inch I2481FXH and 27-inch I2781FH sports two HDMI inputs for connecting multiple devices, which is rather thoughtful considering that many users have more than one HDMI devices on their desks these days. AOC will begin selling the raXor monitors from July 2016 onwards through AOC partners, the company has also taken the opportunity to announce its official online store on 11street, which both are giving away exclusive movie premiums of ‘Independence Day: Resurgence’ for pre-orders of the raXor monitors starting from June 30 till July 15.
