When it comes to watching content or gaming on a monitor, refresh rates plays a big part in getting a smooth and enjoyable viewing experience. It looks like AOC understands that and are releasing two new monitors in Malaysia this month that focuses on high refresh rates and immersive experience, the AG251FZ AGON Monitor and C4008VU8 Curved Monitor.
The AG251FZ is focused mainly on gaming to give gamers the competitive edge when it comes to reaction time. The monitor will come with an eye watering 240hz refresh rate, making it 4 times more than a regular monitor. Not everyone is going to realise the change in refresh rates, but to those that can differentiate it, it will make a big difference in winning a game or losing. 
It also has a low blue light which is damaging to your eyes, with this technology from AOC, it reduces the amount of blue light coming out of the monitor without impacting colours. AMD FreeSync is also included in the monitor to deliver a lag-free gaming experience. AOC Game Mode and Game Colour gives users the freedom to adjust screen settings for better visuals and comes with USB 3.0 hub with fast charging to get your wireless peripherals charged at all times.
Next, is the AOC C4008VU8 Curved monitor that seems to wrap around you, making your videos or gaming even more immersive as it covers the scope of your vision. It comes with support for 4K Ultra High Definition to give users a more detailed image, which is sharp and crisp for any type of entertainment that supports it. In addition to that, the monitor comes with Super Colour Technology that gives you 85% NTSC Wide Colour Gamut and is made better with the immersion effect that is easier to look at mainly because it is naturally easier for the eye to track the sides of a curved display. It also has the Low Blue Light feature and anti-flicker, making it comfortable to look at.
Both the monitors will be available in Malaysia starting from August 2017 through AOC partners. The AG251FZ and C4008VU8 will retail for RM2,188 and RM2,388 respectively. In conjunction with the launch of the AG251FZ monitor, AOC Malaysia is offering RM100 free Steam Wallet voucher to those that purchase the monitor.
