The next Plants vs. Zombies game is officially revealed by EA — currently in a pre-alpha stage that Android users can choose to download via Google Play Store to test it out.

PopCap Games, the creator of Plants vs. Zombies, is making the game available for players now so that they can further improve the gameplay, though they warned that there will be bugs and other issues since it’s still under development. For now, only Android users with Android 6 and above are eligible to play Plants vs. Zombies 3.

The game is free for download, but there is a limit to the amount of download per phase. If you couldn’t download at first, the game may have reached its limit of downloads, so you’ll have to be patient and try again another day. PopCap Games also mentioned that there will be no microtransactions in the game during its pre-alpha stage and it is possible for player’s game progress to be reset due to adjustments that have to be made throughout the game’s development.

There’s also no confirmation on its worldwide release date yet, but those who are interested can sign up here to receive the latest Plants vs. Zombies news.
