The Nokia 3 has just received its Android Oreo beta allowing users to try out the update earlier and report if they have found any bugs. HMD Global has also mentioned during their pre-MWC 2018 conference that the Nokia 2 will also be getting the Android Oreo beta update in the new few weeks.
If you own a Nokia 3, all you need to do is head over to Nokia Beta Labs website, log in to your account or create one, and enter your IMEI number for approval. Once it is approved, you will get a notification allowing you to update the phone to a beta version of Oreo. Based on a screenshot from a Twitter user, the update size is around 1.6GB and comes with Android 8.0 features like Picture-In-Picture mode, Notification dots, Google Play Protect, Autofill passwords, faster boot up and February Android security patch.
If you are adventurous enough, you could give the beta a try and experience what Oreo has to offer before it officially comes to the Nokia 3. But like all beta updates, you might encounter bugs during use which you should report to Nokia as soon as you have found some.
