Android O beta is coming soon!

Not too long ago, Google kicked off their Android O journey by releasing the first Developer Preview of the software. Now Google has announced that the Android O beta version will be coming soon. With that, Google has drawn the curtains on the Android Beta Program for Nougat.

If you don’t have Android Nougat running on your Android device, chances are that either your device is becoming obsolete software-wise or you’re still waiting for your software update as promised by your manufacturer. Regardless, you’re definitely late in the Android game although it isn’t your fault. But if you’re using the last Nexus or Google’s new Pixel handsets, you can opt in for the Android Beta Program that is being offered by Google.

By signing up for the Android Beta Program, you’ll be able to receive Android O beta software once it releases. Google did not specifiy on when the software will be rolled out, neither has the company given any time frame. However, the first taste of Android O beta is slated to be released in conjunction with Google I/O 2017 on 17 May next week. Are you looking forward to Android O? Or do you happen to still be running on the ancient Marshmallow?
