It’s always nice when we pick up our phones and see that there is a new update, well for those of you that own a ZenFone 3 Zoom, you will be happy to know that your phone has a new update that will bring Android 7.1.1 to your phone. You should get the prompt for the new update if not, head over to your Settings and then System Update

The new Android update brings a slew of new features mainly towards the camera with a portrait mode and RAW image support to further enhance the already impressive camera the phone comes with. The new portrait mode can create a shallow depth of field effect for photos and you will be able to preview and organise all RAW files in your gallery, using RAW format will provide more freedom to flexibility to control the editing process. To access this portrait mode feature simply open up your camera app and where the location of the manual mode, is replaced by a portrait mode button, the manual mode is still there but you would need to tap the mode button and selected it from there.

Aside from the camera, the new update also brings multi-window view, notification-screen replies and improved customization settings. Have you updated it, let us know how is the experience with the new update!
