The AirPods 2 were just released about a month ago but Apple is set to launch the third generation AirPods, rumoured to be by the end of this year or early next year.
Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicts that the AirPods 3 will be released within a timeframe of 2019’s Q4 and 2020’s Q1. The AirPods will also be arriving in two models where one resembles the existing AirPods while the other comes in a brand-new design.

Rumour has it that Apple might be focusing on improving the new AirPods with better noise-cancelling features and water-resistance design. Kuo also mentioned that the new models might come with the same price point, which will probably cause a decrease in sales of the AirPods 2 if true.
We are definitely looking forward to a new design for the AirPods, and even though it seems a little bit farfetched, we hope to see the new AirPods by this year.
