Acer Malaysia has introduced new devices that will drive the commercial market forward with the unveiling of the Veritons and TravelMates devices for the professional class. The Veriton is the desktop solution while those of you looking for something more portable will be interested in the TravelMate devices.
Acer Veriton S, Veriton X and Veriton M Series
The Acer Veriton series are powered by up to an 8th Generation Intel core i7+ processors paired with the Intel Optane technology which delivers a smoother, more responsive and fast computing experience. In addition to that, productivity is also improved thanks to the use of an M.2 2280 PCIe SSD.
Connectivity is also important when it comes to the commercial world, to overcome connectivity problems, Acer has included the 2×2 802.11ax and stable Gigabit LAN. Other than that, it comes with a wide variety of ports like USB 3.0 Type-A ports and USB 3.0 Type-C Gen 1 port in some of the Veriton X and Veriton M series, it can also be expended to three displays without the need of a graphics card. However, if business owners are looking for something with a discrete graphics card can opt for a Nvidia or AMD card in the Veriton S or X series.
Expansion of RAM is also possible on the Acer Veriton X6660G and M6660G with the support of up to 64GB of memory. All the devices come with Intel vPro technology which allows for remote Pc management even when the OS is compromised or the PC is powered off.
Mainstream users can go for the Veriton X2660G and S2660G which comes with a small form factor but powerful specs. The Acer Veriton X, M and S will be priced from RM1,999 onwards depending on the specs and will be available early-August at Acer Official Online Stores and all Authorised Acer Resellers Nationwide.
Acer TravelMate X3410 and P2 Series
The TravelMate has received an update with up to an 8th Generation Intel processors and is shipped with Windows 10 Professional installed. The laptops feature up to 32GB DDR4 memory and up to 512GB of SSD storage, promising the best productivity performance. It also comes with 2×2 MU-MIMO 802.11ac wireless technology and 15 hours of battery use, ensuring users will not have to carry around the charger. The FHD displays that Acer has equipped these laptops with come with Acer BluelightShield and ComfyView to protect eyes, provide a clearer image, clearer text and vibrant web browsing. The large precision touchpad will support a host of actions including gestures and it has a 720p HDR webcam which is perfect for those of you that are always on a conference call.
The Acer TravelMate X3410 features up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 512GB SSD. The USB Type-C port can be used to charge the device or used to transfer data quickly up to 5 Gbps or power external devices. You can also get the Acer Type-C dock which will expend your workspace with more devices.
On the other hand, the TravelMate P2 comes with 4GB of DDR4 RAM which can be expanded to 32GB. The laptop comes in two models, P2410 and P249, giving users the option of specs they would need for their daily usage.
The Acer TravelMate P2 series starts from RM2,499 depending on the specs and is available at the Acer Online Store and all Authorised Acer Resellers nationwide while the TravelMate X series is priced at RM3,999 for the i5 model and RM4,899 for the i7 model. Both models will be available in Sepetmber.
