A rumored Snapdragon 823 powered HTC 10 mini set for September

It seems that the Snapdragon 823 is real, based on a rumored Mi Note 2 sporting that processor, although it may still be a far fetch. But why does it seem more convincing this time? It turns out that rumors have surfaced regarding a HTC 10 mini, which is said to be sporting the same processor of that rumored in the Xiaomi’s Mi Note 2.

This rumor comes less than two weeks away from the HTC 10’s official unveiling by the Taiwanese OEM, set on April 12th. 8 days away, to be more precise. According to Austrian news site Android-News, the rumored HTC 10 mini will sport a 4.7-inch display, which might be tuned down to 1080p due to its smaller screen size. As mentioned earlier, the HTC 10 mini will be featuring a Snapdragon 823 SoC, which might be an edge better compared to the one in the HTC 10. Also packed underneath the hood is 4GB of RAM.

Android-News has also indicated that the HTC 10 mini will be launched in September this year. If this rumor turns out to be true, we might be looking at the first of many rumors that will spread like wildfire over the next few months. Till then, let’s keep the spotlight on the HTC 10 next week, shall we? Tell us what do you think.
