After generating attention through viral durability demonstrations involving a sports car and even a 1.25-tonne aircraft, the upcoming HONOR Magic V6 is now officially available for early bird bookings in Malaysia ahead of its launch on 4 June 2026.
Malaysians interested in securing HONORโs latest foldable flagship can place an early booking from 26 May until 3 June 2026 with a refundable deposit of RM300. As part of the early bird campaign, HONOR is offering mystery gifts worth up to RM3,797, alongside a complimentary HONOR Magic Pen valued at RM499.
The HONOR Magic V6 is positioned as the companyโs next-generation foldable smartphone, focusing heavily on durability improvements. One of its standout upgrades is the new Super Steel Hinge, which HONOR claims delivers tensile strength of up to 2,800 MPa. To showcase its structural resilience, the company previously demonstrated the foldable pulling a Ferrari sports car as well as a 1.25-tonne aircraft without sustaining damage.
Durability enhancements extend beyond the hinge mechanism. Both the inner and outer displays feature the upgraded HONOR Magic Diamond Screen protection designed to improve resistance against daily wear and accidental damage. The outer display is protected by HONORโs Anti-scratch NanoCrystal Shield, which utilises a multi-layer silicon nitride coating structure, while the foldable internal panel adopts an upgraded Ultra-Tough Glass (UTG) layer for improved flexibility and strength.
HONOR is also emphasising environmental protection capabilities with the Magic V6 becoming the first foldable smartphone to receive dual IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. According to the company, the device is capable of surviving water immersion at depths up to 1.5 metres, setting a new benchmark for waterproofing in foldable devices.
Although full specifications and official pricing have yet to be revealed, HONOR appears to be positioning the Magic V6 as one of its most durable foldable smartphones to date, with a strong focus on structural strength, display protection and improved durability for everyday usage.
The HONOR Magic V6 will officially launch in Malaysia on 4 June 2026 at 7PM through a livestream hosted on HONOR Malaysiaโs Facebook page. Consumers interested in early bird promotions can secure their bookings before 3 June to enjoy the accompanying gifts and bonuses.
