ASUS Malaysia has officially announced the arrival of the new ProArt PZ14, positioning it as the brandโ€™s most powerful creator-focused tablet to date. Built for creative professionals who require portability, AI acceleration and high-performance hardware, the ProArt PZ14 combines a detachable design with flagship specifications typically found in premium laptops.

The device features a CNC-machined aluminium unibody chassis finished in Nano Black with smudge-resistant technology, giving it a cleaner appearance while improving durability. Despite its powerful internals, the ProArt PZ14 weighs only 0.79kg and measures just 9mm thick, making it one of the lightest creator-oriented devices in its class. ASUS says the tablet also meets MIL-STD 810H military-grade durability standards and carries an IP52 rating for resistance against dust and water ingress.

Powering the ProArt PZ14 is Qualcommโ€™s latest 18-core Snapdragon X2 Elite processor paired with an integrated NPU capable of delivering up to 80 TOPS of AI performance. Combined with the Qualcomm Adreno GPU, ASUS says the device is designed to handle demanding workloads such as video editing, image processing, content creation and AI-assisted workflows while maintaining strong power efficiency.

The Snapdragon X2 Elite architecture also allows on-device AI processing for creative applications, reducing reliance on cloud services and improving responsiveness for AI-enhanced tasks. ASUS positions the ProArt PZ14 as a capable mobile workstation suitable for editing, asset generation, workflow automation and multitasking throughout an entire workday.

Supporting the performance is up to 32GB LPDDR5X memory and a 75Wh battery aimed at delivering extended battery life. ASUS has also incorporated 0dB cooling technology, enabling silent operation during lighter workloads while maintaining lower noise levels under heavier processing tasks.

One of the biggest highlights is the 14-inch ASUS Lumina Pro OLED touchscreen display. The panel offers a 144Hz refresh rate, 1000 nits HDR peak brightness and support for 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage with Delta E <1 colour accuracy. ASUS says the display is Pantone Validated, making it suitable for colour-critical work involving photo editing, design and video production.

The OLED panel additionally supports Dolby Vision and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification while delivering a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. For creators working outdoors or under challenging lighting conditions, ASUS includes an anti-reflective coating that reportedly reduces glare by 65% while increasing ambient contrast.

To improve viewing comfort during long editing sessions, the display also reduces harmful blue light exposure by approximately 70% and features adaptive brightness and colour adjustment technologies backed by TรœV Rheinland certification.

The touchscreen supports the included ASUS Pen 3.0 stylus, which offers 4,096 pressure levels, tilt recognition and palm rejection for more natural writing and drawing experiences. The stylus also features haptic feedback and brush sound simulation designed to mimic a pen-on-paper feel.

The detachable Bluetooth keyboard and magnetic stand cover further increase flexibility, allowing the ProArt PZ14 to switch between tablet, laptop and portrait modes depending on workflow requirements. ASUS says the modular setup is aimed at supporting tasks ranging from digital illustration and note-taking to studio editing and content review.

As a Copilot+ PC, the ProArt PZ14 includes several AI-powered ASUS applications designed to enhance productivity. These include StoryCube for AI-based media organisation, MuseTree for local AI image generation and ProArt Creator Hub for system optimisation and workflow management.

Connectivity is equally extensive, with the device featuring dual USB4 ports supporting 40Gbps transfer speeds, an SD Express 7.0 card reader and WiFi 7 connectivity. ASUS has also included an 8MP IR front camera and a 13MP rear camera for video conferencing and content capture.

The ASUS ProArt PZ14 will officially go on sale in Malaysia starting 27 May 2026 through the ASUS e-Store and authorised resellers nationwide. Two configurations will be available, with the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage model priced at RM9,999, while the higher-end variant with 32GB RAM and 512GB storage will retail for RM11,999.
