DJI has officially introduced the Osmo Pocket 4 in Malaysia, bringing the next evolution of its pocket-sized gimbal camera to content creators who want professional-grade video without carrying bulky gear. Building on the success of its predecessor, the new model focuses on meaningful upgrades in imaging, performance and usability, making it one of the most capable compact cameras in its class.
At the heart of the Osmo Pocket 4 is a 1-inch CMOS sensor, delivering significantly improved image quality with better dynamic range and low-light performance. The camera supports up to 4K video recording at 240fps, allowing creators to capture ultra-smooth slow-motion footage while maintaining high resolution. Combined with 10-bit D-Log colour support, the device offers greater flexibility in post-production, especially for users who want more control over colour grading.

DJI continues to refine its stabilisation technology with the built-in three-axis gimbal, ensuring smooth and steady footage even when shooting handheld. This is complemented by the introduction of ActiveTrack 7.0, which enhances subject tracking accuracy and reliability. The system is capable of locking onto subjects more intelligently, even in crowded or fast-moving environments, making it especially useful for vlogging, travel content and dynamic shooting scenarios.
In terms of usability, the Osmo Pocket 4 features a 2-inch rotatable touchscreen that allows for easier framing whether shooting vertically or horizontally. The brighter display improves visibility outdoors, while updated controls provide quicker access to key shooting modes. DJI has also introduced gesture controls and improved autofocus, further streamlining the shooting experience for solo creators.
One of the more notable upgrades is the inclusion of built-in storage, offering over 100GB of internal space. This removes the reliance on external memory cards and allows for faster data transfer speeds, which is particularly useful for creators working on tight timelines. Battery life has also been improved, with the device capable of recording for extended periods, alongside fast charging support that quickly gets users back to shooting.
Audio capabilities have also been enhanced, with support for DJI’s wireless microphone ecosystem, enabling high-quality audio recording for interviews, vlogs and professional content. For those who want a more complete setup, the Creator Combo includes additional accessories such as a wireless microphone transmitter, wide-angle lens and tripod, making it a ready-to-use solution straight out of the box.

In Malaysia, the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 is priced from RM1,999 for the Standard Combo, while the Creator Combo is available at RM2,599. The device is now available through DJI’s official stores and authorised retailers nationwide, as well as online platforms including Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop.
With its compact form factor, upgraded imaging capabilities and smarter features, the Osmo Pocket 4 continues to push the boundaries of what a pocket-sized camera can do, offering creators a powerful and versatile tool for everyday content production.
