In conjunction with the Predator League 2025 Malaysia offline qualifier, Acer Malaysia has launched its new Predator Orion X gaming desktop, along with three high-performance gaming monitors and two wireless controllers. These additions further bolster Acer’s position as a top contender in the gaming hardware market.
Predator Orion X: Compact Yet Powerful
The Predator Orion X gaming desktop is a compact powerhouse, housed in a 15.4L chassis with a tool-less DIY design that makes upgrading components easy. Its futuristic aesthetic and internal design, separated into zones for the CPU, graphics card, and cooling system, allow for straightforward upgrades. It features a hot-swap M.2 SSD bay located at the front for quick storage changes.
With Acer’s Predator Frostblade 3.0 fans, the desktop offers enhanced airflow while minimizing vibrations and noise. Gamers can manage performance and customize settings through the PredatorSense 4.0 utility app, which includes RGB lighting controls.
Designed for high-performance gaming, the Predator Orion X is equipped with up to an Intel Core i7-14700F processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER GPU. It also comes with 32GB of DDR5 RAM (expandable to 64GB) and a 1TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD, ensuring blazing-fast load times and smooth multitasking.
The Predator Orion X is available in two configurations: Intel Core i5 and Intel Core i7, priced at RM10,999 and RM12,999, respectively. Both variants are now available at the Acer eStore, official stores on Shopee and Lazada, and through Acer’s authorized resellers nationwide.
New Predator Gaming Monitors
Acer also introduced the Predator X49 V, a 32:9 UltraWide gaming monitor designed for immersive gameplay and multitasking. Its 5120×1440 resolution and 1800R curvature deliver a seamless visual experience. With a 144Hz refresh rate and a lightning-fast 0.03ms response time, the Predator X49 V ensures smooth gameplay, enhanced further by AMD FreeSync™ Premium technology.
Additionally, the monitor supports advanced PIP/PBP features, allowing users to display content from different sources simultaneously. It also includes a built-in KVM switch for seamless control across multiple PCs.
The Predator XB323QU M3 and XB273U V3 monitors offer WQHD (2560×1440) resolution with a 180Hz refresh rate and up to 0.5ms response time.
Featuring AMD FreeSync™ Premium, these monitors provide vibrant visuals and fluid gaming experiences. Ergostands for adjustable height, tilt, and swivel, coupled with Acer’s Display Widget, make these monitors highly customizable for comfort and precision.
Pre-orders for the Predator X49 V, priced at RM4,699, are open until September 22, 2024. Meanwhile, the XB323QU M3 and XB273U V3 monitors are available immediately, priced at RM1,299 and RM899, respectively.
Predator and Nitro Wireless Controllers
Acer also revealed its latest wireless gaming controllers—the Predator PGR300 and Nitro NGR300. The Predator PGR300 offers hall effect joysticks and analog triggers for precise input, enhanced by a motion sensor and dual vibration motors. Ergonomically designed for long gaming sessions, the controller features asymmetrical joysticks and interchangeable options for comfort.
The Nitro NGR300 is a more casual option but still offers features like analog triggers, dual vibration motors, and asymmetrical joysticks, ensuring a comfortable and immersive gaming experience. Both controllers feature wireless connectivity and broad platform compatibility, making them versatile for various gaming setups.
The Predator PGR300 and Nitro NGR300 are priced at RM399 and RM199, respectively, and are available at the Acer eStore and other authorized retailers.
