Rumours regarding the Apple Car has surfaced recently, but Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says that the vehicle will take a few more years before it launches.ย
Apple has gone back and forth with the Apple Car
According to Reuters, Apple is planning to produce its own car by 2024 and itโll come with โnext levelโ battery technology. Some reported that the company had scaled back to focus on autonomous vehicle system at one point, but Apple is back to its goal of making a car now that its project has been progressing well.ย
Earliest launch is in 2025
However, Kuo stated that even if Apple Carโs development starts in 2020 and progresses smoothly, itโll take at least 5 more years for it to launch. He also said that thereโs a possibility for an even later launch due to โAppleโs high-quality standardsโ.
As of now, we donโt have much information regarding the Apple Car. However, it is rumoured to come with a battery that features a โmonocellโ design and a bunch of LiDAR sensors that can help in distance-scanning for self-driving purposes.
