Nubia, a sub brand of ZTE like how Honor is related to Huawei, has announced an upcoming event on April 16. Last year saw the launch of the Nubia Z9, Z9 Mini and Z9 Max in late March, so it looks like Nubia will most likely be unveiling the Z11 lineup of devices this coming 16th.
One of the devices, the Nubia Z11 Mini already had its specs spilled all over the web last month, with its alleged TENAA approval. The Z11 Mini will be sporting a 5-inch 1080p display, an octa-core processor clocked at either 1.2GHz or 1.5GHz, 3GB of RAM alongside 64GB of internal storage which is expandable via micro SD. It will either come with an 8MP or 16MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie shooter, powered by a 2,750mAh battery.
The flagship Nubia Z11 on the other hand is rumored to feature a QHD 5.2-inch screen, the flagship standard Snapdragon 820 SoC with 4GB of RAM and a whopping 128GB of internal storage. It is also tipped to sport a huge 20.7MP rear camera and a 13MP front facing camera. What’s odd is the Z11 Mini is rumored to run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box and the Z11, Android 6.0. Also expected is a Nubia Z11 Max but we don’t have much details regarding the handset so far. On another note, the ZTE Nubia event is less than two weeks away. What are your thoughts?
