Apple revealed a bunch of updates during WWDC, including its all-new Mac Pro that is a powerful beast when it comes to performance. Today, Apple also updates its Logic Pro X to allow music makers and film composers to take their work to the next level with the application when combined with the powerful Mac Pro.
The new Logic Pro X 10.4.5 version will be able to support up to 56 processing threads and run up to 5 times the number of real-time plug-ins compared to its predecessors, meaning that it’s much faster and more efficient. In addition to that, the latest Logic Pro X has increased track and channel count, offering more than 1,000 audio tracks and 1,000 software instrument tracks to its users. Simply put, the new update will offer much more to users so that they can let their creative juices flow without limitations.
Apple also announced the several updates that will come in the new Logic Pro X as below:
- The loop browser can filter by loop type and allows drag and drop of multiple loops into your project simultaneously.
- The redesigned DeEsser 2 plug-in provides more options to reduce sibilance on audio tracks.
- MIDI beat clocks can be sent to individual ports, each with unique settings like timing offset and plug-in delay compensation.
Basically, the new Logic Pro X will be able to maximise its potential with the new Mac Pro and result in better performance and productivity. The update is currently free for all the existing users but if you’re a new user, you can download it on Mac App Store for RM799.90
