HTC made an appearance again — this time with its two new midrangers, the U19e and the Desire 19+. Both devices were just launched in Taiwan, and while the U19e still has no notch, the Desire 19+ is HTC’s first phone to sport a water drop notch.
Starting with the HTC U19e, this device comes with a 6-inch OLED FHD+ display with no notch and a slightly thick chin. On its back, we still spot a fingerprint sensor alongside a dual rear camera setup. The back is also pretty cool as it has a design on its back that looks transparent when you look at the area surrounding the fingerprint sensor.
The U19e is powered by a Snapdragon 710 processor, in addition to having a configuration of 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It also has 3,930mAh battery that supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4 via USB-C. That aside, its back houses a 12MP lens paired with a 20MP sensor, while its front has a 24MP shooter paired with a 2MP depth sensor.
Moving on, the Desire 19+ has a 6.2-inch HD+ display coupled with a waterdrop notch. The metallic finish gradient back comes with a triple lens camera setup and also a fingerprint sensor. The Desire 19+ also sports a headphone jack.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset and comes with two different configurations — 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. It also ships with Android 9 Pie and holds a 3,850mAh battery that charges via USB-C.
Camera wise, the Desire 19+ has a triple rear camera with a 13MP main lens, an 8MP telephoto camera and a 5MP wide angle lens while on its front, the phone houses a 20MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
