Google has just released a new ad that combines “Home Alone”, the iconic Christmas movie and Google Home devices. The ad shows Macaulay Culkin reprise the role of Kevin from the Home Alone movie, but this time, he is all grown up and has assistance from Google Assistant-powered setup.

The ad features Macaulay Culkin relying on Google to help him in an reenactment of the famous scenes from the movie, down to a custom “Operation Kevin” routine that automates things like locking the door, moving around a cardboard cutout on a Roomba, and turning on the lights to protect against a Joe Pesci-like thief. There’s also an appearance of an altered Pixel device, which features an edge-to-edge display and it has no notch.

Additionally, Google has added a few Home Alone themed integrations to Google Assistant, which will trigger quotes from the movie if you asked questions such as “Hey Google, did I forget something?” and in reply, you’ll get the movie’s “KEVIINNNNNNN” scream.
