Dubbed as one of the leading public transportation platform in Malaysia, the Grab app was frequently used and is well recognized by fellow Malaysians. Less than 6 months ago, Grab has introduced their new app “GrabFood”, which connects users to its original app but instead of car rides, users could order for food delivery.
It was reported that the app was not well utilized during the first few months of operating, but as the months went by, users are slowly utilizing the app and with much success, GrabFood has doubled the amount of merchants in their app thanks to the feed backs and comments given by their users which allows Grab to know what the users expect and want out of the app.
In the lists of new merchants added into the app includes Village Park Nasi Lemak, Rojak & Cendol Mustaffa (SS17), Soong Kee Beef Ball Noodles and more. Grab has said that they will not stop adding more merchants into the app, in fact, they would like to add more local favorites into the list. Other than that, Grab has also include other famous household names such as Baskin Robbins, Texas Chicken and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.
In addition to that, GrabFood has ran a few campaigns such as The People’s Pick, Bubble Tea Week, Pasta Day, and MurukkuCariku where Grab was able to introduce some their latest food outlets on the app. With that said, GrabFood has just started a new campaign for this month, known as “McDonald’s McNuggets” where users are able to get 4 pieces of chicken McNuggets for free with every order of McValue meal.
With more outlets and merchants added into the app, GrabFood has expanded the number of their delivery partners and will be delivering to more places such as Subang, Puchong and Sri Petaling.
