The latest device from OnePlus has been praised for its fast performance and overall decent user experience. The company, however, has a habit of releasing an update to their phones just a few months after and it a worthy upgrade. So, its expected that the OnePlus 6T is going to be a nice upgrade, but this time they are taking a step further.
At the same time, the company is taking a close look at its sister company, Oppo for some design experience. On of it, is the “waterdrop” notch design that was showed on the OnePlus 6T box leak. The illustration showed that the phone will come with a small notch and an in-display fingerprint sensor. It looks like the company is looking at the Oppo R17 for inspiration, the notch houses the camera sensor and just above it is a slit that houses the receiver grill.
Don’t expect such a big improvement in performanc as the company has planed to release the OnePlus 6T in October and that is not enough time to implement the Snapdragon 855 processor. Nevertheless, if you have not picked up the OnePlus 6, it is definitely recommended that you wait for the 6T
