A few months ago, Nokia bounced back from the dead after seeing its glory days extinguished by the modern smartphone age. Nokia found it difficult to stand its ground with the rise of iOS and Android smartphones respectively, hanging on to Microsoft’s wing with Windows Mobile.
Chinese company HMD is currently responsible for surviving the once famous Nokia, and has since revived the brand with a couple of Android smartphones under its belt, including a smart remake of the legacy Nokia 3310. The Nokia 3 and 5 went on sale not too long ago, and now the Nokia 6 and 3310 are following suit.
Just to recap, the Nokia 6 Android smartphone has been crafted with a premium 6000 series aluminium build for its chassis. It sports a 5.5-inch display at Full HD resolution and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 processor underneath the hood with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It features a 16MP PDAF rear camera plus an 8MP selfie shooter on the front. The Nokia 6 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box with a pure Android experience.
The Nokia 3310 on the other hand, is a budget feature phone boasting excellent battery life, with a month long standby time and up to 22 hours of talk time on a single charge. It also features a modern take on the classic Snake mobile game.
The Nokia 6 carries an affordable price tag of RM 999, which is a good buy for a smartphone of its stature while the Nokia 3310 comes at only RM 239 if you intend to live out your early millennium days again.
