6GB RAM Honor 9 to be made available in Europe

Huawei is planning to bring the 6GB RAM variant of the Honor 9 to be sold in Europe. The Honor flagship, which was just launched a month ago in China, has three variants 4GB RAM with 64GB of storage, 6GB RAM with 64GB of storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB of storage. The higher end variant with 6GB and 128GB of storage will be headed to Europe

The 6GB RAM/128GB storage model of the Honor 9 will be known as the Honor 9 Premium for clear reasons. A report by WinFuture claims that Italy has already begun selling the device, while a couple of retailers in Switzerland have started putting the phone up for pre-orders.

As mentioned before, the Honor 9 is essentially a Huawei P10 without the Leica branding with an affordable price tag – a 5.15-inch Full HD display, a Kirin 960 processor, a dual rear camera setup of 20MP and 12MP sensors, plus a 3,200mAh battery.

Highly spec-ed variants of Chinese smartphones are typically only made available in Asian markets, but it seems like Huawei’s subsidiary has made an exception here.

Although the Honor 9 already has a presence in Europe, there hasn’t been confirmation on whether or not the phone will be made available at other regions apart from Italy and Switzerland.
