3D Pen anybody?

“The pen is mightier than the sword.” – Edward Bulwer-Lytton

This phrase simply means that communication is far more powerful than violence and was coined in an old English play. However, with the booming of technology this day, a pen could (in actual fact) create a sword!

Introducing the world’s smallest 3D printing pen – the Lix 3D Pen. This mighty sword pen boasts a sexy anodized aluminum body powered by a standard USB port which empowers users to create (somewhat) lofty 3D art with only the use of a pen! This neat little trick would definitely turn a few heads in a boring office meeting room. Being dubbed a ‘professional tool’, Lix is purposefully crafted for a hassle-free-imagination-stimulating thought process as anyone wielding handling the pen would just have to pause for less than a minute for the filament tip to heat up before driving the pen in mid-air and quickly melting “the lix colored plastic to create rigid, freestanding structures”, Lix stated.

With this miniature-sized 3D printer-cum-pen, architects, stylists and designers would have a ball of a time displaying their works to anyone willing to be bedazzled by this quirky little piece of gadgetry.

And for those with sensitive noses, be rest assured as the Lix 3D Pen works with PLA filament too which comes in a wide array of colors and has a sweet-smelling odor as it is plant-based. However, it has a lower tensile strength and flexibility compared to the conventional ABS and it is also moisture-sensitive.

The Lix 3D Pen is up for Pre-Order for $139.95 and comes in White/Black Matte color variants.
