Samsung announces three new laptops right ahead of WWDC — the 13-inch and 15-inch Notebook 7 and the 15-inch Notebook 7 Force.
According to The Verge, “the 13-inch model bears the closest resemblance to Apple’s MacBook Pro, with its keyboard arrangement and center-aligned trackpad, and well, just about everything else about it.”
Both models of the Notebook 7 are powered by up to 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8565U processors, and supports RAM up to 16GB and storage up to 512GB SSD. The difference between both models are their graphic cards — the 13-inch model uses the Intel UHD Graphics while the 15-inch model can opt for the Nvidia GeForce MX250. The Notebook 7 also comes with a USB Type-C port, two USB 3.0 ports, a HDMI port, a microSD slot and also a headphone jack.
On the other hand, Samsung also introduced the Notebook 7 Force that comes with the same 15.6-inch display that is found on one of the Notebook 7 model, and it also features up to 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8565U processor. The Notebook 7 Force has up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB SSD and HDD storage.
What makes the Notebook 7 Force a better laptop compared to the other two is the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card that is integrated in it. The Notebook 7 Force also has a USB Type-C port, two USB 3.0 ports, a HDMI port, a microSD slot, a headphone jack, a security slot and an RJ45 port.
The 13-inch and 15-inch Notebook 7 start at $999 and $1,099, and the Notebook 7 Force starts at the price of $1,499. All three laptops will officially launch on July 26, but they can be pre-ordered starting from July 12.
