Nvidia are better known for their GPU offerings as well as developer-centric programs and features that allow for more realistic video game graphics. However, it seems like the American giants are diversifying their trade as they unveiled a new laptop branding program called the Nvidia RTX Studio.

Nvidia told the press during their keynote speech during the COMPUTEX 2019 expo in Taipei yesterday — according to Anand Tech, Nvidia RTX Studio laptops must always meet these requirements: a high-end CPU, an RTX-ready GPU. Nvidia invites parter brands to create such devices and will allow them to carry the Nvidia RTX Studio badge.

As the name suggests, these laptops are aimed at content creators — Nvidia has also listed more details of what the minimum requirements are for the laptop specs:

Depending on which Nvidia GPU brand laptop makers choose to go with, they will either get a Quadro RTX Sudio or GeForce RTX Studio badge for their product.

At the moment, the company has announced a total of 17 laptops that have already been part of the program and they belong to brands such as Acer, ASUS, Dell, Gigabyte, HP, MSI and Razer. You can expect to see Nvidia RTX Studio badged laptops sometime this June.
