The Redmi Note 7S will sport a 48MP main shooter and a 4,000mAh battery

The Redmi Note 7 series welcomes a new member to the family, the Redmi Note 7S. Joining the Redmi Note 7 and the Redmi Note 7 Pro, the Redmi Note 7S continues to sport the similar 48MP camera.

The Redmi Note 7S comes with a 6.3-inch LCD screen that has the same dot notch that is seen on its siblings. Equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, the phone also has a FHD+ resolution and thin bezels.

Under the hood, the phone sports two different configurations — 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. It also ships with MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie, and it’ll be powered by a Snapdragon 660 chipset.

The phone will also come with a 4,000mAh battery that supports up to 18W charging via USB-C, but users will need to buy the Quick Charge 4 charger on its own as the bundled charger will be a 10W charger.

Camera wise, the Note 7S houses a dual rear camera setup with a 48MP main camera and also a 5MP depth sensor. It will support EIS, AI portrait mode, and on its front, it’ll come with a 5MP front camera.

The Redmi Note 7S will be available on May 23, and will be offered in three colours — Onyx Black, Blue Sapphire and Ruby Red. The starting price of the Redmi Note 7S is INR10,999 which is around RM660.
